Across the platform, and at various stages throughout the lifecycle of an RMA, currency for international returns will be accounted for as follows:
For the shopper experience (returns flow and emails), all return values, including the "Subtotal" and "Refund Estimate," will be reflected in the original currency that the order was purchased in.
All issued refunds for processed RMAs will also be in the order's original transacted currency. As merited, Shopify will manage any necessary conversion back to a merchant’s base currency.
Within the Manage Returns section of the Return Manager, all return values will be reflected in the shopper's currency (presentment currency).
For Analytics widgets and corresponding metrics, applicable numerical values will be reflected with a $ sign.
