International Returns are supported for United States and Canada-based merchants who meet the requirements outlined below. With this, a shipping label and required customs documentation will be generated for any such RMA.
The following are absolute requirements for International Returns to be enabled for a merchant's Return Center:
- Be on the Shopify Plus ecommerce platform (or integrated with Returnly via custom API)
- Be subscribed to Returnly's Annual plan
Required Product Data
The following product data, as set through the ecommerce platform, are required to be eligible for international return:
- Country of origin
- HS (Harmonized System) tariff code
If not populated for a product, the shopper will be prompted to contact a merchant’s customer support team for assistance with completing their return.
