Merchants often need ways to filter or tag orders and products as non-refundable. Whether it's because of a flash or final sale, or because the items are non-refundable in nature (a consumable, single-use product, clearance inventory), tags enable Returnly and your store platform (e.g. Shopify) to have parity between the systems and proper automations to occur.
Product Level Tags
- In order to have Product Level Tags work, you must first add the Returnly tag: rtly-non-returnable to the product on Shopify. This will mark the product as non-returnable on any orders placed once the tag is in place.
- If you have an existing product-level tag or would like to use your own tagging system, you can add this tag to the Returnly dashboard. These tags need to be added in the Returnly dashboard under the Return Policy tab. The tag must EXACTLY match the tag you've used on Shopify. Be sure to hit "enter' after typing your tag. If the tag is correctly added, it'll look like the below image.
