Q: Does the merchant have to use Shopify Plus?
No - all platforms will work.

Q: When do we settle Green Returns that have been issued Instant Credit?
The Auto Settle Date - We auto settle Green Returns™ the same date that the auto-settle is configured.
Q: What determines how long the instant credit persists for?
The auto-settle setting date. For example, Merchant XYZ has a 10 days auto-settle setting. For a Green Return, the moment the RMA is authorized, we mark the RMA as delivered right away, and the 10 day count starts.
Q: When using the Green Return tag for a specific product (vs. Global), how does this work with a mixed return? As an example, the shopper has three products to return. Two are eligible for return but require the product to be shipped back and the third product has the Green Returns tag. Do we allow this?
No - when using product specific Green Return tags, all products in the RMA must have the tag to be eligible for a Green Return. In the above example, the shopper would have to return all three products.
Q: If a merchant has a VIP/customer loyalty program, can Green Returns be leveraged only for those customers? (Pending credit approval and all other criteria is met)
Yes - The Green Return tag would be applied at the Order Level for the VIP shoppers. The merchant would create a Shopify script to tag the corresponding orders.
Q: How can clients use the GR tag as an Order tag? What workflows might this 'unlock'?
Tags can be applied at the Order Line/Product and Order Level. This would allow a Green Return if the shopper selected a specific reason like an item was defective or if they were on a VIP list.
Q: What options, today or future state, do non-Credit clients have with GR?
Not offered yet. Returnly Credit (Instant credit or Use of exchanges) is required to utilize Green Returns™.
Q: Can Green Returns work for International and in non-USD if the merchant tags all the products with the Green Return tag?
No - Credit is only supported in the US. International; hence, returns are not eligible for Green Returns™.
Q: Is it possible for Green Returns eligibility check to bypass the Credit application in any way? The use-case is for Canadian-origin orders to be universally (or as close to as possible) Green-Return-eligible for new merchant Our Place
No - The tagging only makes the order eligible. During the credit check, the shopper is being evaluated and since the order was placed Internationally in Canada, the shopper would not receive a Green Return.
Q: Are all Green Returns eligible shoppers issued credit as well?
Only if the merchant is offering instant credit. In the cases of Soko Glam (enabled by exchanges), the voucher code would not be shown to shoppers.
