When a shopper starts the return process, Returnly uses a proprietary algorithm to determine if Returnly Credit is offered. This allows customers to shop across a merchants site or exchange in real-time. Also accounted for are Returns of Repurchases (RoRs) and Returns of Exchanges (RoEs) when made with Returnly Credit.
As there are various scenarios and behaviors factored by the algorithm, a shopper may not always be eligible for Returnly Credit and exchange. If they are not, then they move through the standard flow and are provided a label to ship their return for refund to their original payment method or store credit (gift card), as applicable.
