With our available "Recommended Product" variable, product recommendations can separately be presented to shoppers and gift recipients within select emails sent during the lifecycle of an RMA.
You might consider the following options as valuable emails to incorporate this into:

How it Works
After the {{PRODUCT_RECOMMENDER}} variable is added to an applicable email template's body, emails sent to shoppers thereafter will include a familiar, curated visual list of products for consideration and optional purchase.
This list will be inclusive of four (4) products from when the email is first sent, accordingly excluding those that were previously purchased/returned by the shopper, or are out-of-stock/otherwise unavailable for purchase. Emailed recommendations do not change/refresh dynamically, i.e. upon the email later being reopened.
Shopper Journey
When Instant Credit is offered, each recommended product's price reflects an adjusted strikethrough price after Instant Credit has been applied.
Upon clicking through a recommended product's image or description/name, the ecommerce platform-hosted product page will automatically be opened, enabling the shopper to view additional details and/or proceeding with purchasing.
Adding to Email Templates
The {{PRODUCT_RECOMMENDER}} variable can very easily be added to your preferred email template/s. Just follow these steps:
- Log into the Return Manager (dashboard).
- Navigate to the Customize section from the left menu navigation, and click into the "Email" tab.
- Scroll down to your preferred email template (i.e. "Return Accepted: Instant Credit"), and click "Edit" to begin updating the template's body. Once selected for editing, the text field will be outlined in a dashed line.
- Click into that text field and add the {{PRODUCT_RECOMMENDER}} variable where you prefer that product recommendations be included in the body. We recommend towards the bottom of the email, and below Instant Credit.
- Once finished, scroll down and click "Save" to complete your changes.
Once saved, subsequently sent emails, for that particular template, will include recommended products.
