Exploring and analyzing metrics across Returnly Analytics is an important part of identifying areas of improvement for both your business operations and for your shoppers. On the Analytics tab, you can select which dashboard you're interested in.
- For Returns information, there are the Products, Process and Shipping dashboards.
- For Revenue information, there is the Transactions dashboard.
- For Customers, there is the Experience dashboard.
Across these dashboards, Returnly Analytics leverages key data -- gathered at the warehouse and customer level -- to empower teams with actionable insights that drive business growth.
Browsers
Using Chrome
On Chrome, you will need to ensure that third-party cookies are enabled to successfully view and utilize Analytics (including choosing a "Viewer Time Zone").
The corresponding setting can be accessed and managed under Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data. You should choose either the "Block third-party cookies in Incognito" or "Allow all cookies" selection:
Note: If cookies are blocked, you may encounter a "You are not authorized to view this page" error when navigating through the Analytics section.
Using Safari
On Safari, you will need to actively disable the "Prevent cross-site tracking" browser setting (enabled by default) -- at least temporarily -- to successfully view and utilize Analytics (including choosing a "Viewer Time Zone").
This setting can be accessed and managed under Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Website tracking:
Note: If this setting remains enabled, you may encounter a "You are not authorized to view this page" error when navigating through the Analytics section.
Filtering Metrics
Within a given dashboard, all displayed metrics can be filtered using a number of custom options:
Aggregation: How metrics are aggregated (Date window selector, 7D, 15D, 1M, 3M, 6M, 1Y, and YTD)
Time Zone Selection
With this option, a dashboard viewer is able to select their preferred global time zone, even if not where they're currently located, for reviewing metrics and data.
Tooltips
Each metric's tile includes a tooltip that, when hovered over, presents a summary of the corresponding definition or calculation. This enables users to better understand what data means, directly from the dashboard view.
