Overview

The enhanced Product Details Page provides a more descriptive and illustrative product profile to help your customers make informed exchange decisions, improving, in this way, your customer's shopping experience, while turning exchanges into more repurchases. 
 
When your customers initiate an exchange for a different item or a different variant, they’ll see a more robust product details page. All of the product images and the full product description will be pulled into Returnly directly from your Shopify listing.
 
On Shopify, ensure both the description and media for each of your products include all the details you would like to show to your customers. 
  • Select Products.

These enhancements are available to Returnly merchants on a Premium plan.

 

 

Enhancements

 

Accessibility Keyboard Navigation 

 

Navigating across product pages and collections is now more accessible to a wider range of users. 

User interface components are presented in a more operable and robust way.

By pressing the Tab key to navigate, your customers will be able to keep keyboard focus moving on the selected elements. Once an item has been chosen, it will show as highlighted. They will simply need to press Continue to make that selection.

Product Profile 

Your customers will be able to learn more about each product. 

The information contained in the profile will be answering questions on:

 

Text Description

  • What’s this made of?
  • Where’s it from?
  • What size should I get?
  • Fabric
  • Features

 

Additional Images

  • How does this look with someone actually wearing it?
  • Different angles

 

Shop Collections & Lateral Navigation 

If Shop Collections has been enabled, your customers will be able to see the following message at the bottom of the Product Details Page:

Your customers will be able to view other options for the selected product to be exchanged such as other colors. 

 

In Shopify, often, each color of the same product is considered to be a different product due to the current limit of 100 variants. Therefore, if a customer wants to exchange an item for a different product, customers will be able to access Shop Collections.

 

Then, the Product Details Page for that specific color will be displayed where customers will be able to see how it looks, how it fits along with its description. 

 

Furthermore, customers will see the entire collection thanks to its intuitive lateral navigation, where they could shop for any other product in that collection.

Your Customer's Exchange Flow

When customers select an item to be exchanged along with their reason for the return, they will be prompted to select from the following options:

  • Shop for something new: The collection will be then shown. Customers click on a product which will bring up the Product Details Page.
  • Exchange: Once clicked, it will bring up the Product Details Page.
