You got your first product return...here's what you need to do.
- If you are on Manual Authorization mode, you will need to look over the return request and click Authorize Return. Auto Authorization mode takes care of this step for you.
- Once the return is received, inspect the package's contents. If everything is as expected, you can issue the refund directly from the Returnly Dashboard by clicking Process Refund or Settle if you are using Returnly Credit.* Eligible plans only.
- If the contents of the package are not as expected, for example, the shopper only returned 1 of 2 items, you can use the Deductions & Fees field to adjust the refund amount due to the shopper.
- If you do NOT want to restock an item, make sure that the “Restock item” checkbox is EMPTY before you click through to process the refund.
