If the gift giver returns the item themselves, and

Scenario 1: They would like a shipping label and store credit to be sent directly to the gift recipient, then they should do a GIFT RETURN

Scenario 2: They would like to handle it all themselves. Get the label, do the return, receive the refund themselves, etc., then they should initiate a REGULAR RETURN

If the gift recipient wishes to return the item, they should initiate a GIFT RETURN. If they don't have all the of the information that they need, i.e. have lost the packaging inserts and need to retrieve the order number, please direct them to contact your brand’s customer service department. Customer Service may choose to initiate a gift return on behalf of the gift recipient, which can be done from the dashboard as follows:
